Geophysical indication of unknown neovolcanic bodies in the Mělník area

Abstract
On the basis of older aeromagnetic maps at a scale of 1 : 50 000 (1968) ground magnetic measurements in the northern part of the Prague territory were realized, namely in the neighbourhood of the Ovčáry village. The measurements confirmed exactly the presence of hidden neovolcanic structures (maars) unknown till now. Ground magnetometry executed around a neovolcanic dyke Kopeč gave a precision to its position.
