Abstract

All stratigraphic units of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin are present in the area SW of Česká Lípa. Our knowledge of Cretaceous lithology and stratigraphy has been extended by geological mapping as well as by description of the structural well logs. The large sandstone body inside the Teplice Formation represents the most interesting phenomenon in the area. The main faults trend from E to W.
